Inspect the vehicle after driving through water
Once the vehicle is safely through the water
immediately do the following:
Press the brake pedal gently several times
to check that the brakes are functioning
correctly.
Check the horn.
Check all vehicle lights.
Please go to an authorized service center as
soon as possible for a routine check. While
the vehicle was driving through water,
water could have entered the transmission
system, contaminating the lubricant grease,
and might cause a system fault.
Caution
Driving through water should only be
attempted in emergencies and not as part
of routine driving.
Driving through water can damage the
engine and electrical components.
Driving in hot weather
High temperatures and hot weather may have
a negative impact on normal operation of the
vehicle as well as on driver health. To ensure
vehicle safety, the driver should pay attention
to the following points:
To prevent the engine from overheating
The engine is prone to overheating in the hot
weather due to higher ambient temperature.
Therefore, please increase the frequency of
inspections and maintenance of the engine
cooling system, and remove debris embedded
in the radiator chips.
Avoid blowouts
Tire pressures increase as temperature rises
and high temperatures in hot weather make
tires more prone to blowouts, increasing the
risk of accidents.
If a blowout occurs while driving, hold the
steering wheel tightly and use the brake pedal
to slow down, but avoid harsh braking and
sharp steering, otherwise, you could easily lose
control of the vehicle.
Preventing heatstroke
In hot weather with strong sunlight and high
temperatures, heat stroke can easily occur.
Keep the vehicle cabin well ventilated and do
not drive when tired.
Warning
Do not lock unaccompanied children in vehicles.
If children are left alone in a vehicle during hot
weather, they can easily develop heat stroke or
become dehydrated, which can lead to injury or
even death.
If children are left alone in the vehicle, there is a risk
they may play with matches or cigarette lighters,
and could easily cause a vehicle fire.
Caution
Do not leave cigarette lighters, spray cans, drinks
cans, or glasses, etc. inside the vehicle.
High temperatures within the vehicle could cause
gas leaking from cigarette lighters or spray cans to
ignite.
If a drink can ruptures the liquid could easily cause
a short-circuit when it comes into contact with
electric power components.
Due to the high temperatures within the
vehicle, resin lenses or glasses can easily be
damaged.
Driving in cold weather
Winter tires
In cold weather, the flexibility and grip of
standard tires is reduced due to their particular
characteristics (tire width, composition and
tread, etc.), and tire rumble will increase. In
serious cases, permanent damage such as
cracks and abnormal wear may occur to
standard tires. Therefore, use winter tires when
the temperature falls below 7°C. Winter tires can
greatly improve handling and can also improve
braking responsiveness, thus reducing braking
distance.
