⚠Warning
When driving a vehicle with tire chains, take
note of the following precautions:
After the tire chains have been attached,
drive no faster than 40 km/h or the
maximum speed recommended by the tire
chain manufacturer, whichever is lower.
After driving for 0.5-1 km with the tire
chains attached, check whether they have
been correctly attached to ensure safety. If
the tire chains become loose, tighten or
reattach them.
After attaching the tire chains, vehicle
control may be adversely affected. Avoid
hard acceleration, sharp steering and hard
braking to the extent possible, otherwise an
accident could occur.
If you hear the tire chains knocking against
the body or the underside of the vehicle,
stop the vehicle as soon as possible to
check and tighten them. If there is still noise,
slow down until the noise stops.
Avoid driving on bumpy road surfaces or
roads with potholes.
Before taking a bend in the road, reduce
speed to maintain control of the vehicle.
The tire chains should be removed as soon
as possible on snow-free roads, otherwise
they will affect driving performance and
seriously damage the tires.
⚠ Warning
When parking on snowy roads, shut down the
vehicle's powertrain.
If the engine is running at the start of the
vehicle with snow accumulated around it,
exhaust gas may seep inside the vehicle
interior, causing severe injury or even death by
carbon monoxide poisoning.
When you feel that exhaust comes into the
vehicle, you can take the following measures:
Drive the vehicle to a ventilated area and open
all the windows. Set the air conditioner to the
external circulation mode, adjust the air volume
to the maximum, and introduce fresh air from
the outside into the vehicle.
