What to do if my Hawksmoor CG330FHB Cutter engine fails to start?
- JJohn MartinAug 7, 2025
If your Hawksmoor Cutter engine won't start, several factors could be at play. First, ensure there's fuel in the tank and that the fuel system is properly primed by pressing the primer bulb 3-5 times. Check if the choke is engaged, as it's needed for starting. A fouled spark plug could also be the culprit, so replace it. Also, verify that the ignition switch is in the ON position. Lastly, if the engine is flooded, remove the spark plug, let it sit for an hour, then replace it and try starting again.
