Adjust the controls as instructed on pages 8, 10, or 11. Clean the condenser coils following the instructions on page 20. Check that the rear air grill, located under the crisper drawers, isn't blocked by food items. Reduce the time the door is open and organize food efficiently. Finally, allow recently added food time to cool down.

  If water flow is slower than normal in your Heartland Refrigerator, it could be due to low water pressure. Water pressure should be between 35 to 100 pounds per square inch. A minimum of 35 pounds per square inch is recommended for refrigerators with water filters. Reverse Osmosis water systems can also cause low water pressure. Check the water connection procedure in your Installation Instructions, as self-piercing and 3/16"saddle valves can cause low water pressure and may clog the line over time. Ensure the copper tubing is free of kinks; if kinks are present, turn off the water supply and remove them, or replace the tubing. Lastly, the water filter may be clogged or need to be changed; see pages 13 and 14 for instructions.
