What to do if HeartSine Medical Equipment has a red status indicator and beeping while device is on?
    • S
      Scott DukeJul 29, 2025
If the HeartSine Medical Equipment shows a red status indicator and beeps while on, you should immediately replace the Pad-Pak or find another defibrillator. If you don't have a spare Pad-Pak or alternative defibrillator, the device will keep analyzing the patient's heart rhythm and tell you when to do CPR, but it won't be able to deliver a shock.

What to do if HeartSine samaritan PAD shows a 'Low battery' warning?
    • M
      Manuel AdamsAug 3, 2025
If your HeartSine Medical Equipment displays a “Low battery” warning, replace the battery as soon as you can. The AED will still work, but it might have fewer than 10 shocks left. Prepare a spare Pad-Pak for quick use and order a new Pad-Pak immediately.

How to fix flashing red status indicator or continual beeping on HeartSine Medical Equipment?
    • J
      Jessica BlackburnAug 7, 2025
First, check the expiration date on your Pad-Pak. If it's expired, replace it right away. If not, turn the HeartSine samaritan PAD on and listen for the voice prompt “Call for medical assistance”. Then, turn the device off again. If the problem persists, contact your Authorised Distributor or HeartSine Technologies immediately.

What to do if HeartSine samaritan PAD says 'Check pads'?
    • W
      Wanda WolfeAug 13, 2025
If the HeartSine Medical Equipment displays a “Check pads” prompt, make sure the pads are fully attached to the patient as shown in the diagram, and that the skin is clean, dry, and hair-free. Readjust the pads if needed. If the message continues, remove and reinsert the Pad-Pak. If the message still appears, use another defibrillator and continue CPR.

Why does my HeartSine samaritan PAD beep three times when turned off?
    • H
      hwashingtonAug 18, 2025
The HeartSine Medical Equipment beeps rapidly three times when turned off or after a weekly self-test because it's outside the specified operating temperature. Return your AED to a temperature between 0°C and 50°C (32°F to 122°F). Then, check if the beeping stops.

    • M
      Michelle WalshAug 23, 2025
If the HeartSine Medical Equipment shows a “Device service required” warning, immediately find an alternative defibrillator. Do not try to fix the device yourself, as it cannot be modified. Contact HeartSine Technologies or your authorized distributor right away.
