What to do if Heat Seal SM20ES Stretch Wrapping Systems seal plate is not heating?

  First, check if the Cycle Light turns ON when the unit is cycled. If the dual-colored light next to the photo eye and seal plate do not work, check the 20 amp circuit breaker. If tripped, inspect the electrical box wiring; repair shorts if found, then reset the breaker or replace it if necessary. If the seal plate is still not heating properly after these steps, consider replacing the seal plate.

Why Heat Seal Stretch Wrapping Systems film cut-off rod is not working?

  First, ensure the unit is plugged into a 15 Amp circuit and the Power Switch is in the “ON” position. Next, check that the 1 amp circuit breaker hasn't tripped and inspect all wiring for connection issues. If the rod is warm, clean it and make sure it isn't bent. If the problem persists, replace the cut-off rod.
