Tune up the Transmitter as follows:

POSITION
Adjust LEVEL control for approximately .5 ma (midscale)
with METER switch in GRID position.

B. MODE TUNE
Turn the METER switch to REL PWR and adjust for
maximum meter indication (plate current will be
approximately 220 ma).
Adjust for maximum relative power meter read-
ing, Then turn METER switch to PLATE, (Ip
should be about 220 ma.)
C. FINAL tune
D. DRIVER
E, REL PWR
ADJUST Set METER switch to REL PWR and adjust for a half-scale
reading when fully loaded on the 3.5 band.
Key the Transmitter and quickly adjust the LEVEL control
only to the point where meter reading ceases to increase.
F, MODE
G, LEVEL
Adjust for maximum meter reading,
Repeat steps C, D, and H.
H, FINAL LOAD
