Before installing the fuse or tubes, the following MODE - CW,
resistance checks should be performed, If the
actual resistance readings vary more than +20% .

Difficulty section of the Manual on Page 117,
VOX GAIN - fully clockwise,
VOX DELAY - fully counterclockwise,
qRefer to Figure 1-2 (fold-out from Page 86). ANTI-VOX - fully counterclockwise,
Set all controls and switches as follows:
ALC ADJUST - 1/2 rotation,
[FINAL - 80,
SIDEBAND AMPLITUDE BALANCE -
LEVEL - 0 (fully counterclockwise), 1/2 rotation,*
FREQ CONTROL - UNLOCKED. CARRIER NULL capacitor -1/2 meshed,
F kwise,
qORIVER = Fully coumencloeaes CARRIER NULL control - 1/2 rotation,
LMO - Any point,
Relative Power control - fully clockwise,

Neutralizing capacitor - 1/3 meshed from fully
