Replace damaged parts, especially safety devices, only with genuine replacement parts since
parts not tested and approved by the equipment manufacturer can cause unforeseeable
damage.
Repair and maintenance work other than described in this section should only be carried
out by authorized service.
Once in the season let inspect and maintain the machine in authorised service center.
CLEANING
Careful handling and regular cleaning ensure that the product remains functional and
efficient for a long time.
Wipe down the product with a slightly damp cloth or with brush.
Never use aggressive detergents or solvents for cleaning. This can cause irreparable damage
to the product. The plastic parts can be eaten away by chemicals.
CLEANING THE FILTER
In the suction foot, the pump has a removable filter, designed to protect it from dirt. According to
the level of dirt in the water, this should from time to time be checked and cleaned when necessary
(FIG. 3).
Unplug the appliance from the power supply.
Remove the screws (FIG. 3A) on the underneath of the pump housing.
Take the suction grid
(FIG. 3B) off the pump and take out the fi lter (FIG. 3C).
Wash the fi lter under running water and put it back in place.
Put the suction grid back on the pump and fasten it with the screws.
CLEANING THE IMPELLER WHEEL
If deposits in the pump housing become too heavy, the bottom part of the pump must be
dismantled as follows.
Remove the screws (FIG. 3A) on the bottom of the pump casing and pull off the suction foot
(FIG. 3B).
Unscrew the paddle wheel cover (FIG. 3D).
Clean the impeller wheel with clean water.
For re-assembly, follow the same steps in reverse.
CAUTION! A
Do not put the pump down, or support it, on the impeller wheel!
TROUBLESHOOTING
You cannot rectify disorders that require more intervention yourself.
If you‘re unable to rectify the fault using the corrective measures described below,
contact a specialist garage, preferably an authorised service centre.
