• If it‘s necessary to lay the pump down on the bottom of the tank, it‘s recommended to
support it (with a tile, stone, brick) to reduce the possibility of clogging the suction opening
with sediments.
• There must be sufficient space around the pump to allow the float switch to move freely.
TURNING THE PUMP ON/OFF
• Immerse the pump sufficiently in water (so that the float is in the closed position). If the shut-
off valve is closed, open it (FIG 1B).
CAUTION! A
The shut-off valve at the pipe outlet is only intended for short-term shutoff of
the outlet (e.g., when changing a hose). Do not leave it closed for a long time while
the pump is running.
C The pump must be immersed before connecting the power supply.
• Plug the pump in.
• The pump starts and stops as soon as the float switch reaches the set water level (lower/
upper level).
• Adjust the working area of the float switch by shortening/extending and attaching its cable
to the bracket at the top of the pump body.
MAINTENANCE
WARNING! B
BEFORE PERFORMING ANY MAINTENANCE ON YOUR TOOL, SWITCH OFF AND
UNPLUG THE TOOL. WAIT TILL ALL MOVING PARTS ARE COMPLETELY STOPPED.
Improper maintenance, or failure to correct a problem before operation or use of
non-conforming replacement components, can cause malfunction in which you can
be seriously hurt or killed.
C We strongly recommend entrusting all repairs and replacements of machine parts to an
authorized service centre. If you choose to deal with minor repairs yourself, all the spare
parts used must be original, must have the same design as the original parts and must
be installed in the same position. Other parts may not provide the desired performance,
can damage equipment or cause injury. In addition, you will lose the warranty provided
by the manufacturer if the performed service work is done improperly!
• Careful handling and regular cleaning ensure that the product remains functional and
efficient for a long time.
• Keep the product in good condition, if necessary change warning and instruction labels on
the product.
• Keep all nuts, bolts and screws tight to be sure the equipment is in safe working condition.
• Replace worn or damaged parts for safety. Use only original spare parts.
