Test when there is working request. Decide if the working
contactor is closed through checking the VAN signal. Diagnose
according to the following methods in order to find out the
faults: ① the fault occurs only when having forward or backward
request. A) The connection of the contactors of the forward
contactor TA or backward contactor TI is poor because of dirty.
B) the power supply of the forward or backward contactor is
normal but they are not closed. The possible causes are: (1) the
contactor coil is break. Measure the resistance with ohmmeter.
(2) the contactor can not move because of mechanical fault. (3)
the working voltage of the coil is higher than battery voltage.
C) power can not be supplied to the forward or backward
contactor. Check the wires and connection of the TA coil between
the PT hole and NTA or the connection Of the TI coil between the
PT hole and the NTI. ② the fault occurs when having forward
request and backward request. A) the largest possibility is the
poor connection of the all-close contactor of the brake
contactor and the negative pole of the battery. It is probably
caused by the dirty or the mechanicals of the contactor,
change the contactor if necessary. B) the similar to the ①B). C)
the power can not be supplied to the TI and TA. Check the
connections from TA, NTI to the holes PT, NTA and NTI. Change
the controller if necessary.
