    • SN (Subnormal): Between 10 and 32 °C
    • The appliance is designed for use at an ambient temperature within the 16°C - 43°C range.
  • Thermostat Settings: The thermostat dial ranges from 1 to 5, with 1 being the warmest setting (minimum freezing) and 5 being the coldest setting (maximum freezing).
    • 1-2: For short-term storage of food in the freezer compartment, setting the knob between minimum and medium position.
    • 3-4: For long-term storage of food in the freezer compartment, setting the knob medium position.
    • 5: For freezing fresh food. The appliance will run for colder temperatures.
  • Electrical Connection: Requires a specially grounded plug connected to a power cable of 16 amperes. If the socket does not match, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent, or similarly qualified persons.

  • Net Capacity: The maximum net capacity can be achieved by removing the drawers.

Usage Features

  • Installation:
    • Install the appliance in a cool, well-ventilated room, away from direct sunlight and heat sources (radiators, cookers, etc.).
    • Use an insulating plate if near a heat source.
    • Ensure proper ventilation openings in the appliance enclosure or built-in structure are clear of obstruction.
    • Allow warm food and drinks to cool down outside the appliance before placing them inside.
    • Place the freezer on a flat, stable surface, away from direct sunlight.
    • Maintain at least 5 cm clearance from ovens and heater cores, and 5 cm from electrical ovens.
    • The adjustable front legs should be stabilized to ensure the appliance operates in a stable and proper way.
    • Before first use or after transport, let the freezer stand upright for 3 hours and plug it in to allow efficient operation.
    • The freezer may have a smell when it is first started; the smell will fade away when your freezer starts to cool.
  • Thermostat Setting:
    • The thermostat automatically regulates the inside temperature of the compartments.
    • The knob should not be rotated beyond position 1 or 5.
    • The ambient temperature, temperature of the freshly stored food, and how often the door is opened affect the temperature in the freezer compartment.
    • For best internal temperature, the indicator in the freezer thermostat should be positioned between 2 and 4.
    • When first switching on, for starting a suitable cooling, the appliance should work 24 hours continuously until it cools down to sufficient temperature.
    • Do not open the door too often and place a lot of food inside the appliance.
    • If the unit is switched off or unplugged, wait at least 5 minutes before restarting to avoid damage to the compressor.
  • Arranging Food:
    • Use the freezer for long periods of time and making ice cubes.
    • Do not put fresh and warm food with frozen food side by side.
    • Divide fresh food (meat, fish, mince) into portions suitable for single use.
    • To load large quantities and use the maximum net capacity, remove the drawers.
    • For storing frozen food, follow instructions on frozen food packages.
    • Do not store frozen food for more than 3 months from the purchase date.
    • When buying frozen food, ensure it has been frozen at suitable temperatures and that the packing is intact.
    • Frozen food should be transported in appropriate containers to maintain quality.
    • A package of frozen food showing signs of humidity and abnormal swelling indicates it has been previously stored at an unsuitable temperature and that the contents have deteriorated.
    • The storage life of frozen food depends on room temperature, thermostat setting, how often the door is opened, the type of food, and the length of time required to transport the product from the shop to your home.
    • Maximum amount of fresh food (in kg) that can be frozen in 24 hours is indicated on the appliance label. For optimum appliance performance, turn the thermostat knob to position "5" / 24 hours before placing fresh food in the freezer. After 24 hours, reset the thermostat to the desired position.
    • To save energy, when freezing small amounts of food, reset the thermostat to the desired position.
  • A+ Models: If there is a power cut or malfunction, do not open the door. This will help maintain the temperature inside the freezer, ensuring that foods are conserved for about 16 hours at 25°C ambient temperature and about 14 hours at 32°C ambient temperature. Do not re-freeze food that is defrosting or that has already been defrosted. These foods must be cooked and eaten.
  • Repositioning the Door: It is possible to change the opening direction of your freezer door. If the door handles on your freezer are installed from the front surface of the door, it is possible to change the opening direction of the door on models without any handles. If the door opening direction of your freezer may be changed, you should contact the nearest Authorised Service to have the opening direction changed.

Maintenance Features

  • Cleaning:
    • Disconnect the unit from the power supply before cleaning.
    • Do not clean the appliance by pouring water.
    • The freezer compartment should be cleaned periodically using a solution of bicarbonate of soda and lukewarm water.
    • Clean the accessories separately with soap and water. Do not clean them in the washing machine.
    • Do not use abrasive products, detergents, or soaps. After washing, rinse with clean water and dry carefully.
    • You should clean the condenser (back of the appliance) with a broom once a year to provide energy saving and increase productivity.
    • The power supply must be disconnected before cleaning.
  • Defrosting:
    • Never use sharp metal tools, unless recommended by the manufacturer, for this operation as they can damage the freezing circuit.
    • Frost will build up in certain areas in the freezer compartment. The frost accumulated in the freezer compartment should be removed periodically (use the plastic scraper if available).
    • Complete defrosting will become necessary if the frost layer exceeds 3-5 mm to maintain the efficiency of the freezer.
    • The day before you defrost, set the thermostat dial to position "5" to freeze the foods completely.
    • During defrosting, frozen foods should be wrapped in several layers of paper and kept in a cool place.
    • Remember to use these foods within a relatively short period of time.
    • Set the thermostat knob to position "•" and switch off the appliance.
    • Leave the door open to accelerate defrosting.
    • Dry the inside of the compartment with a sponge or a clean cloth. Never use abrasive products or aggressive cleaning agents.
    • Dry the inside of the unit, plug on the mains, and set the thermostat knob to position "5". After 24 hours, reset the thermostat to the desired position.
  • Before Calling After Sales Service:
    • Check if there is no power, the general switch in your home is disconnected, the thermostat setting is on "•" position, or the socket is not sufficient.
    • If the appliance is not working properly, it may be a minor problem.
    • If you have not overloaded the appliance, the freezer thermostat settings is "1" position (if so set the thermostat dial suitable value), or the doors are closed perfectly.
    • If your fridge is designed to operate in the ambient temperature intervals stated in the standards, according to the climate class stated in the information label.
    • If the freezing gas circulates in the freezer circuit, it may make a slight noise (bubbling sound). This is normal.
    • If the appliance is well levelled, nothing is touching the rear, or the stuffs on the appliance are vibrating.
  • Tips for Saving Energy:
    • Install the appliance in a cool, well-ventilated room, but not in direct sunlight and not near heat source. Otherwise use an insulating plate.
    • Allow warm food and drinks to cool down outside the appliance.
    • When placing, drinks and liquids must be covered. Otherwise humidity increases at the appliance. Therefore the working time gets longer. Also covering drinks and liquids helps preserve the smell and taste.
    • When placing food and drinks, open the appliance door as briefly as possible.
    • Keep the covers closed of any different temperature compartment in the appliance (crisper, chiller ...etc ).
    • Door gasket must be clean and pliable. Replace gaskets if worn.
