5. Stop the operation by turning the appliance to
STANDBY mode by rotating the power selector
anti-clockwise until - will be shown on the display.
Note: 1). If the cookware is removed from the ap-
pliance at any time during cooking, beep
sound will be heard, error code will be
shown on the display.
2). When the appliance is turn to STAND-
BY mode, the fan will be continue running
within 1 min.
Error codes
Error code on the display Possible cause Possible solution
E2, E6, E7, E8 Internal circuit error:
Internal components are either over-
heating or have an open or short cir-
cuit
Contact supplier service centre.
Cookware sensor detection Check whether or not the cookware
is suitable.
Make sure the cookware is within the
circular cookware placement mark-
ing on the appliance.
Cookware is removed during cook-
ing. Replace cookware back on the
appliance.
E3 The input voltage is too high (Over 275
± 5V~).
Make sure correct electrical outlet is
used: 220-240V~
E4 The input voltage is too low (Less
than 150 ± 5V~).
Make sure correct electrical outlet is
used: 220-240V~
E5, E9 The temperature of the cooking plate
is too high.
Remove the cookware and wait until
the appliance has cooled down.
Remarks:
1. “Beep” sound will also be heard.
2. WARNING! Never try to repair yourself. Contact the service centre.
Cleaning and maintenance
Always remove the plug from the socket before
cleaning the appliance.
Beware: Never immerse the appliance in water or
any other liquid!
Clean the outside of the appliance with a damp
cloth (water with mild detergent).
Never use aggressive cleaning agents or abra-
sives. Do not use any sharp or pointed objects. Do
not use petrol or solvents! Clean with a damp cloth
and detergent if necessary. Do not use abrasive
materials.
• Clean the fan openings with the vacuum cleaner.
Clean the glass plate each time after use. This is to
prevent any residues from burning onto the glass
plate.
