This document describes the 3-in-1 HIFU Machine, a multi-functional device designed for facial, body, and vaginal tightening treatments. HIFU, or High Intensity Focused Ultrasound, is a non-invasive technology that delivers heat energy to the skin and subcutaneous tissue, stimulating collagen renewal and improving skin texture and firmness. This process aims to achieve results similar to a facelift or body lift without invasive surgery or injections, and notably, with no downtime. The device is also effective for various skin colors, unlike some laser and intense pulsed light treatments.
Function Description
The HIFU machine works by directly heating deeper tissues to lift the skin. For facial and body treatments, an ultrasound gel is applied to the skin, and an ultrasound screen image allows the operator to visualize the treatment level before applying energy to the targeted tissue. The treatment duration typically ranges from 45 to 90 minutes, depending on the area being treated. This technology is designed to lift and tighten facial skin and muscles, particularly on the neck, under the chin, and on the brow.
For vaginal tightening, the HIFU system utilizes a non-invasive ultrasonic focusing technique to directly target the mucous membrane fibrous layer and muscle layer. By sending out focused ultrasonic energy to a predetermined depth, a high-intensity focus region is created. Within 0.1 seconds, the temperature in this region can reach over 65°C, leading to collagen reorganization. The surrounding normal tissue remains undamaged. This process aims to achieve collagen concentration, reorganization, and regeneration, resulting in vaginal tightening. This method is described as bloodless, woundless, scarless, and non-surgical, offering a more effective solution to vaginal relaxation compared to traditional surgical or laser methods, with reduced pain and a quicker physical recovery.
The device is equipped with multiple treatment heads for different depths:
- 1.5mm head: Used for thinner tissues, such as the eye zone, to activate the skin epidermis.
- 3.0mm head: Targets the dermal layer of the skin, activating collagen, enhancing outline consolidation, improving large pores, and reducing wrinkles. This head is suitable for areas like the chin and chest.
- 4.5mm head: Penetrates to the subcutaneous SMAS layer, targeting thicker skin areas such as cheeks and neck, to lift and tighten.
- 8.0mm and 13.0mm heads: Designed for thicker skin on the body, such as thighs and buttocks, to activate at depths of 8mm and 13mm respectively.
The HIFU treatment is highlighted for its ability to reach unprecedented treatment depths, acting on fibrous septa and the SMAS layer, which is a key point in traditional facelift surgery. The energy points (TCP) under the skin can reach temperatures of 65-70°C, making it a powerful non-invasive skin tightening device.
Usage Features
The HIFU machine is designed for ease of control and operation, with no consumables, making it cost-saving. The device features a user-friendly interface for setting parameters and monitoring the treatment process.
For Face and Body Treatments:
- Preparation: Clean the skin, take a pre-treatment photo, and mark the lifting locations with a make-up pencil.
- Transducer Selection: Choose the appropriate transducer based on skin thickness.
- Parameter Settings: Adjust the length, distance, and energy settings. A suggested starting energy is 0.1J, and length can be adjusted to 25mm.
- Application: Apply a generous amount of ultrasonic gel as a couplant between the transducer and the skin.
- Operation: Operate along power lines, pressing the transmitting button to create a thermal condensed node at the specified depth. Continue operating along the marked lines until the treatment is complete. Treatment areas include the face, chin, and both sides of the neck.
- Cautions: Avoid operating on marginal mandibular nerve and supra or vital nerves.
- Post-treatment: No recovery period is needed. Apply a moisturizing product and make up immediately. The comprehensive effect gradually appears in two to three months, and some individuals may opt for multiple treatments.
The device screen allows for patient information input, treatment settings, and real-time imaging during the procedure. It displays treatment depth and areas, with figures indicating the maximum number of shots for specific regions to prevent overtreatment.
For Vaginal Tightening Treatments:
- Pressure Test: Before treatment, tighten the pressure switch and extrude the air bag to increase the value, then adjust until the screen displays around 20.
- Probe Insertion: Insert the test head into the vagina, using lubricants if needed.
- Positioning: Separate the legs with a distance less than shoulder width.
- Baseline Measurement: Relax for 6 seconds, breathe naturally, and press save to record the pre-treatment pressure value.
- Post-treatment Measurement: After treatment, repeat steps 1-4 to obtain the post-treatment pressure value.
The device offers two functional heads for vaginal treatment:
- 3.0mm functional head: Reaches the mucosa tissue directly to speed cell activity, promote collagen newborn and reorganization, and increase mucosa elasticity and contract the vagina muscle.
- 4.5mm functional head: Reaches the SMAS layer to create heat coagulation, performing pulling and SMAS suspension, improving muscle structure support and elasticity.
Treatment Period:
- Face Treatment: For individuals under 30 years old, treatment every 6 months. For those over 30, treatment every 3-6 months.
- Body Treatment: Treatment once a month.
Adaptability and Contraindications:
The HIFU machine is suitable for individuals with facial skin sagging, wrinkles, skin aging, rough skin, and those looking to reshape facial curves, improve eye region and neck tissue sag, tighten loose skin, remove real and false wrinkles, repair stretch marks, treat acne, and address systemic anti-aging concerns (neck and back tightening, breast shape adjustment, waist and abdomen shaping, buttocks and legs shaping). It is also effective for various types of wrinkles, including forehead, eye, nasolabial fold, lip, and frown lines.
However, the device is not suitable for:
- Individuals with implanted cardiac pacemakers or similar electronic apparatus.
- Pregnant women.
- Those who have taken isotretinoin therapy (Accutane/Roaccutane/Oratane) within the past 9 months.
- Individuals with internal fillers or gold implantation in the face.
- Patients with serious heart disease, diabetes, or hyperthyroidism.
- Individuals with unhealed operation wounds.
- Patients with advanced cancer or unrealistic fantasies about the results.
Maintenance Features
Proper maintenance is crucial for the apparatus's performance and longevity:
- Cleaning and Disinfection: After each use, the apparatus must be wiped with cleaning water and disinfected with detergent. Ensure the black film of the probe is not damaged during cleaning.
- Power Supply: Always use a power plug with a ground pin and ensure the power outlet is properly grounded. Verify that the apparatus voltage is suitable; if local power voltage is unstable, a stable voltage matching device is recommended.
