Warning: Make sure the drill is unplugged or
the battery is disconnected while attaching the
BackSaver.
**Follow all instructions. Failure to comply with
instructions could result in serious injuries!!
Step 1
Unscrew the handle clamp knob to remove the
handle bracket and washers from the
BackSaver. The washers will be used in step 5
when re-attaching the Hilti® forward handle.
Step 2
Before attempting to attach the BackSaver,
ensure familiarity with the Hilti® model drill
being used and the coordinating holes on the
BackSaver as shown in the photo. The longer
first hole shown in the photo fits the TE-50 and
the TE-60, while the second, shorter hole fits
the TE-70 and the TE-80 model.
