What to do if my Hitachi CH 10DL does not operate?
- Ccarol89Aug 11, 2025
If your Hitachi Lawn and Garden Equipment doesn't operate, there are several possible causes: 1. The battery may be depleted. Charge the battery. 2. The battery may not be properly installed. Remove the battery and check for foreign matter or soiling on the electrodes. Ensure the battery clicks into place. 3. The blade may be incorrectly installed. Make sure the crank holder and crank cam are installed correctly. 4. There might be foreign matter lodged in the blade. Remove the battery and use tongs to remove any obstructions. 5. The tool may have been used for heavy work. Release the switch, remove the cause of the excessive load, and resume work. 6. The Lock Off button may not have been pressed. Press the Lock Off switch while pulling back the switch to start the motor.
