Verify the following outdoor unit accessories before installation.

2-2 Verification of the combined capacity of indoor and outdoor units
□1) Select the quantity and capacity of indoor units for outdoor units as shown below.

□2) Attention
This unit will not operate in the first four hours after power connection. The error
code will be “d1-22”. Follow the steps below to deactivate protection if you need to
operate the unit within four hours after power connection.
1) Connect the power of both the indoor and outdoor units.
2) Wait for 30 seconds.
3) At the same time, press the PSW1 and PSW3 switches on the mainboard of outdoor unit
for three seconds.

1) Do not install at locations containing flammable gases, salt (seaside) and sulfur (hot springs) or environments
containing acid and alkaline.
(Fault may occur more easily when installing in such locations/environments. Apply special protection if it is necessary
to install the air-conditioner in these locations/environments.)
2) Do not install at locations with instruments producing electromagnetic wave. Do not point the electromagnet wave
emitting surface toward the electrical control panel of the air-conditioner.
3) To avoid EMI in the air, keep machinery generating electromagnetic wave, such as radios, at least 3 meters away from
the air-conditioner.
4) Do not install the outdoor unit in the indoor.
