Maintenance Inspections
7.1
Daily inspection
Removing covers and touching the inside of the equipment could result in
electric shock or injury caused by touching the drive parts. Therefore, do
not remove any covers that are secured in place with screws.
This equipment is not waterproof. When cleaning this equipment or the
room in which it is located, do not allow water or any other fluids to get
inside the unit.
In order to prevent exposure to X-rays, do not enter the room where the
scanner gantry unit is located while scanning is in progress. If you must
enter the room at that time, take sufficient precautions against exposure to
X-rays, such as wearing protective clothing.

Inspection before starting daily work ················································

Inspecting the operation panels
Inspection: Inspect the operation of push buttons and indicators, as well
abnormalities in appearance.
Treatment: If any abnormalities are found, contact Hitachi, Ltd. or one of our
certified dealers to schedule a repair.
(2)
Inspecting the operating space of the equipment
Inspection: Make sure that no objects, such as chairs and bas
ets, impede
the operation range of the scanner gantry unit and table.
Treatment: Move all objects out of the operating range of the equipment.
(3)
Inspecting the wiring
Inspection: Make sure that there are no disconnections, abnormal twisting,
or bends in the wiring between devices.
Treatment: If any abnormalities are found, contact Hitachi, Ltd. or one of our
certified dealers to schedule a repair.
