General Information and Precautions

General Installation Advice

Read instructions thoroughly, use two people, contact dealer for questions, and follow all instructions carefully.

Pre-Installation Checks

Verify wall stud installation, enclosure size, wall plumbness, and sill level for proper fit and function.

Post-Installation and Care

Allow 72 hours for silicone cure, avoid harsh cleaners, and wipe down enclosure after each use.

Tempered Glass Safety

Tempered glass can shatter; handle with extreme care to prevent injury or damage.

Installation Steps

Step 1: Mark Shower Base Centerline

Determine and mark the center line of the shower base for accurate alignment of the wall jamb.

Step 2: Align and Position Wall Jamb

Position the Wall Jamb (A) aligning its center with the base's center line, ensuring it sits on the base.

Step 3: Level Wall Jamb

Ensure the Wall Jamb (A) is level before marking for drilling pilot holes.

Step 4: Mark Drilling Holes

Mark holes for drilling on the Wall Jamb (A), considering wall support and using appropriate drill bits.

Step 5: Install Wall Anchors

Apply silicone to drilled holes, insert Plastic Anchors (E) if needed, and tap gently with a hammer.

Step 6: Attach Wall Jamb to Wall

Secure the Wall Jamb (A) to the wall using #10 x 2" Wall Jamb Screws (F).

Step 7: Mount Curb and Wall Channels

Mount the Curb Channel (D) and Wall Channel (C) to the base and wall, using tape for temporary securing.

Step 8: Drill and Mount Wall Channel

Mark and drill holes for the Wall Channel (C), using anchors and appropriate drill bits as needed.

Step 9: Secure Wall Channel

Insert anchors if needed, apply silicone, and secure the Wall Channel (C) to the wall with #8 x 2" Screws (K).

Step 10: Remove Curb Channel

Remove tape from Curb Channel (D) and slide it out from under the Wall Channel (C).

Step 11: Position Glass Panel for Spacing

Place Glass Blocks (Q) to protect the Glass Panel (P) for spacing adjustment; panel will be removed later.

Step 12: Apply Silicone to Wall Jamb

Apply a bead of silicone to the ribbed edge of the Wall Jamb (A) for sealing.

Step 13: Install Glass Door and Hinge Jamb

With two people, set Glass Door (O) on block and slide Hinge Jamb (B) over Wall Jamb (A) until compressed.

Step 14: Adjust Glass Panel Gap

Adjust Door (O) and Panel (P) for a uniform 1/8" gap, ensuring levelness and correct Hinge Jamb (B) placement.

Step 15: Drill Pilot Holes for Hinge Jamb

Drill three pilot holes through the Wall Jamb (A) using a 1/8” drill bit into the pre-drilled holes on the Hinge Jamb (B).

Step 16: Secure Hinge Jamb to Wall Jamb

Install three #8 x 3/4" Self Tapping Screws (L) into the pilot holes to secure the Hinge Jamb (B).

Step 17: Final Gap Check

Double-check the 1/8" gap between the door and panel glass, making adjustments to the Glass Panel (P) if necessary.

Step 18: Measure Curb Channel Length

Measure from the wall to the edge of the panel glass to determine the required length for the Curb Channel (D).

Step 19: Cut Curb Channel

Mark the measured length on the Curb Channel (D) and proceed to cut it to size.

Step 20: Secure Curb Channel

Drill pilot holes in Curb Channel (D) where it meets the Wall Channel (C), add silicone, and secure with #8 x 2" Screws (K).

Step 21: Install Glass Panel with Blocks and Silicone

Place Glass Blocks (Q) in Curb Channel (D), add silicone to Wall Channel (C), and insert Glass Panel (P) into channels.

Step 22: Final Height and Gap Check

Verify Glass Panel (P) height matches the Door (O) and the 1/8" gap is uniform.

Step 23: Silicone Glass Panel in Place

Apply silicone to the inside troughs of Wall Channel (C) and Curb Channel (D) for sealing the Glass Panel (P).

Step 24: Add Optional Support Screws

Install two extra #8 x 3/4" Screws (L) on the outside for extra support, drilling pilot holes through Hinge Jamb (B) and Wall Jamb (A).

Step 25: Seal Wall Jamb to Wall

Apply silicone beads where the Wall Jamb (A) meets the wall on both sides for final sealing.

Step 26: Install Adjustable Post Cap

Mark, cut, and install the Adjustable Post Cap (N) over the Wall Jamb (A) and Hinge Jamb (B) tops with silicone.

Step 27: Prepare Back-to-Back C-Pull Handle

Loosen set screws on the C-Pull (F) handle and separate it, ensuring no metal touches the glass.

Step 28: Install Door Handle

Place handle through door glass, ensuring washers touch glass, tighten screws gently, and secure other side of handle.

Step 29: Install Optional Polycarbonate Seals

Apply Bottom Sweep (L), Bulb Seal (N), and Angle Seal (M) for water prevention and door swing modification.
