Make sure that the locating pegs are the correct distance apart before attempting
to start. The rubber wheel must clear the chassis and only make contact with the
ywheel.
Check the areas pointed out in the picture. The ywheel needs to rotate freely in
the slot. When pressure is applied to the car while on the starter it can press the
outer case against the ywheel causing it to bind. Check this area and remove ap-
proximately 10mm of material to allow for extra clearance. Be careful not to cut
into the wheel.
