Overview

The HOBOT-2S is an exclusive patent window cleaning robot designed to provide an effortless and efficient window cleaning experience. It incorporates advanced technologies like dual ultrasonic spray nozzles, Edge-Leakage Sensors, and a Creative Voice function to redefine how users clean their windows.

Function Description:

The HOBOT-2S is a window cleaning robot that adheres to vertical surfaces using a vacuum. Its primary function is to clean windows and other smooth surfaces automatically. The robot is equipped with patented dual ultrasonic spray nozzles that nebulize water into fine mist particles, mimicking the human action of blowing breath onto glass before cleaning. This biomimicry design ensures effective pre-cleaning. The innovative Edge-Leakage Sensors enable more accurate edge detection, allowing the robot to navigate frameless windows and other vertical surfaces with ease.

The robot offers three automatic operation modes to clean the entire window, ensuring comprehensive coverage. It also features an Uninterruptible Power System (UPS) that provides emergency power for up to 20 minutes in case of a power outage, preventing the robot from falling. An anti-falling control algorithm further enhances safety during operation. The HOBOT-2S is designed to clean glass of any thickness and operates at a cleaning speed of 2.4 min/m².

Users can control the HOBOT-2S using either a remote control or a smartphone via the HOBOT App. The App allows for firmware updates through Over-The-Air (OTA) technology, ensuring the robot stays up-to-date with the latest features. A unique "Creative Voice" function allows users to replace the default voice prompts with any sound of their choice, adding a personal touch to their robot. The robot automatically stops upon completion of the cleaning task.

  • Edge-Leakage sensor: Specifically designed for accurate edge detection on frameless windows.
  • Over-The-Air (OTA) firmware updates: Allows for easy updates of the robot's software via the HOBOT App.
  • Voice prompt and Creative voice: Provides audio feedback and allows for personalized voice prompts.
  • Automatic stop: The robot stops automatically once the cleaning task is completed.
  • Designed for glass in any thickness: Versatile for various window types.
  • 3 automatic operation modes: Offers different cleaning patterns (Zigzag, N-way) to clean the entire window.
  • Uninterruptible Power System (UPS): Provides a 20-minute backup power supply during power outages.
  • Anti-falling control algorithm: Enhances safety by preventing falls.
  • Extra secure DC power jack: Ensures a stable power connection.
  • Remote and smartphone controlled: Flexible control options via a dedicated remote or the HOBOT App.
  • Recommended cleaning procedure:
    1. Dry Cleaning First: Turn off the spray function, attach a clean and dry cleaning cloth, and run the first round to wipe off dust and dirt. This prevents dirt from turning into a muddy mess when mixed with water or detergent.
    2. Wet Cleaning Later: Change the cleaning cloth, turn on the spray function or apply a small amount of water/detergent to the cloth, and run the second cleaning round.
  • Safety measures: Includes fastening a safety rope to a fixed object, especially when cleaning upper floors, and establishing a warning sign on the ground.
  • Battery status indication: LED indicator shows orange during charging and green when fully charged.
  • Manual control: Allows users to control the robot's moving direction manually using the remote control.
  • Water spray function: Can be turned on/off or sprayed once using the remote control.

Maintenance Features:

  • Caring for the Cleaning Cloth:
    • Wash under 40°C (104°F).
    • Do not bleach.
    • Do not use softener.
    • Do not tumble-dry.
    • Do not iron.
    • Do not dry clean.
    • Care frequency: After each use.
  • Replacing the Water Tank: Involves removing screws, disconnecting the cable, and sliding out the old tank, then connecting and securing the new tank. Recommended when the ultrasonic nozzle is clogged and cannot spray water.
  • Replacing the Ultrasonic Nozzle: Requires removing the water tank, lifting the silicone ring to remove the old nozzle, and gently pressing in the new one. It's crucial not to touch the fragile ultrasonic nozzle directly. Recommended when the ultrasonic nozzle is clogged and cannot spray water.
  • Cleaning the Caterpillar Belt: Frequently wipe accumulated dust off the belts to prevent skidding. This can be done by flipping HOBOT upside-down, turning on the power (belts run for 3 minutes), and gently pressing a cloth onto the belt. Care frequency: Before each use.
  • Battery maintenance: Store HOBOT in a dry and safe place. Charge the battery every 3 months to preserve battery life if not used for an extended period.
  • Troubleshooting: The manual provides solutions for common issues such as inability to connect to the App, failure to spray water, hardware check failures, skidding, inability to move upwards, stopping in the middle of work, stopping at glass edges, and irregular movement.
  • Authorized service: For replacement parts, repairs, or issues not resolved by the manual, users are advised to contact a local retailer or authorized dealer.
  • Disposal: Contact local waste management authority for recycling and disposal regulations of electronic appliances; do not dispose of HOBOT and batteries as unsorted household waste.
