a) If the control panel has gone out and only the button is illuminated, press
the ON/OFF/stand-by button
to re-activate the control panel.
Note! When you press the ON/OFF/stand-by button, the appliance will
activate automatically. Now you can turn the appliance off and set the desired
time and temperature, or you can change the temperature setting during the
heating phase.
b) Press the ON/OFF/stand-by touch button ). The control panel icons will
light up.
c) Select the heating time (3-5 minutes) and temperature (as required for
preparing your food) by pressing the buttons for increasing/decreasing the
time and temperature until you reach the required setting.
d) Press again the ON/OFF/stand-by touch button to start heating up the
appliance.
e) After the selected heating time is over, the appliance will turn off and beep to
indicate the end of the operation.
Proper frying/grilling
Note!
During appliance operation, the heating elements activation indicator may go on
and off. This is a normal phenomenon indicating that the thermostat, which serves
to maintain the desired temperature, is working properly.
After the appliance is pre-heated, start the proper frying/grilling process.
1. Fill the pan by following the instructions in section 7.2 Removing/inserting the
pan and basket set, place the food in the basket, and then replace the component
in the appliance body.
2. Press the ON/OFF/stand-by touch button ).
3. Select one of the automatic programs by pressing the button. Each time you
press the button, you will move to the next automatic program. An icon indicating
the currently selected program will be shown on the display. Before activating a
program, you may modify it by adjusting the time and temperature. To do so,
press the +/- buttons for setting the time and temperature.
Note! To accelerate the change of time, press and hold the + or - button.
4. Then press the ON/OFF/stand-by touch button
again to start frying. The fan
indicator will light up, and the In use indicator will glow continuously indicating that
the appliance is in use.
