Vehicle security
Anti-theft alarm system
Anti theft alarm system monitors:
■ Doors, boot lid, bonnet
■ Passenger compartment including
adjoining boot
■ Vehicle inclination, e.g. if it is raised
■ Ignition
Activation
■ Self-activated 30 seconds after
locking the vehicle (initialisation of
the system), or
■ Remote control: directly by
pressing e once more after locking,
or
■
Electronic key system: press e on
the key, after pressing the switch in
the door handle to lock.

ote
Changes to the vehicle interior such
as the use of seat covers, or open
windows, could impair the function
of passenger compartment
monitoring.
Status LED
Status LED is integrated in the sensor
on top of the instrument panel.
Status during the first 30 seconds of
anti-theft alarm system activation:
LED
illuminates
= test, arming delay.
LED flashes
quickly
= doors, boot lid or
bonnet not
completely closed,
or system fault.
Status after system is armed:
LED flashes
slowly
= system is armed.
