Selecting the playback modes
1. Repeat playback:
Press the 2 RPT button
.
Track repeat: The current track plays repeatedly.
Press 2 RPT button
to cancel repeat.
2. Random playback:
Press the 3 RDM button
to select.
Folder random (for MP3/WMA disc only): Press the 1 DIR button
to select. All
tracks of the current folder play in a random sequence.
DISC random: All tracks of disc play in a random sequence.
Press 3 RDM button
to cancel random.
3. Intro playback:
Press 4 INT button
to select.
Folder intro (for MP3/WMA disc only): Press the 1 DIR button
to select. The rst
10 seconds of each track within the current folder play in sequence.
DISC random: The rst 10 seconds of each track on the disc play in sequence.
Press 4 INT button
to cancel intro.
Notes about CD-R/CD-RW
• Use only “nalised” CD-Rs or CD-RWs.
• This audio system will not play back discs with different les types e.g. both audio
CD les and MP3 les.
• This audio system can play back multi-session discs, however, unclosed sessions
will be skipped while playing.
• Some CD-Rs or CD-RWs may not play back on this audio system because of their
disc characteristics, or for the following reasons:
• Discs are dirty or scratched.
• There is moisture/condensation on the lens inside the audio system.
• The pickup lens inside the audio system is dirty.
• CD-R/CD-RW on which the les are written was with the “Packet Write” method.
• There are improper re-coding conditions (missing data, etc) or media conditions
(stained, scratched, warped, etc).
• Do not use the following CD-Rs or CD-RWs:
• Discs with stickers, labels or protective seal stuck to the surface.
• Discs on which labels have been directly printed on by an ink jet printer.
• Using these discs under high temperatures or high humidity may cause malfunctions
or damage to the audio system.
