Operation
(level 1 & 2 audio system)
1. Turn the ignition to the ON position.
2. Enable the reverse camera system by
pressing button
. The operation
lamp
will illuminate to indicate the
reverse camera is enabled.
To turn the reverse camera off, press
and hold button
. The operation
lamp
will extinguish, indicating the
system is disabled.
3. Select reverse gear.
4. The camera display appears on the
left side of the rear view mirror.
Note
•
The operation lamp
remains illuminated when the reverse camera is enabled
regardless of the gear selected.
• The park assist
3
(refer further on in this chapter) warning tones will still be heard
when the reverse camera is enabled.
• Objects of different heights will appear to be different distances from the vehicle.
The reverse camera display may turn off due to the following conditions:
• The system has timed out, after displaying for approximately 3 minutes. The
operation lamp
ashes quickly indicating time out.
Re-select reverse gear to view the camera display after time out has occurred.
• The system has reached its temperature limit. The operation lamp
ashes quickly
indicating over temperature.
The system will automatically reset once conditions return to normal. The operation
lamp will stop ashing.
• The video signal from the camera is not present. The operation lamp ashes slowly.
Contact your Holden Dealer.
The reverse camera system may be affected by the following:
• If the area in the view of the camera is predominately white in colour the image on
the display may be affected. Proceed with caution.
• If the sun or headlight beams are shining directly into the camera lens.
• If the vehicle sustains any damage in the area of the reverse camera (rear number
plate surround). The camera may become misaligned. Contact your Holden Dealer.
• If snow, ice, mud or anything else has built up on the camera lens. Clean the
camera lens. Refer to Cleaning on the previous page.
• If the system is subject to extreme temperature changes.
