Overview

This document is a user manual for a battery-operated ride-on toy car, specifically a train model SX1919, manufactured by Pinghu Shuangxi Baby Carrier Manufacture Co., Ltd. It provides instructions for assembly, usage, maintenance, and troubleshooting, along with safety warnings and product specifications.

The device is a battery-operated ride-on toy train designed for children. It features a locomotive and a trailer, with an optional second trailer. The train is designed for use on hard, flat surfaces and is not intended for traffic. It includes a steering wheel, an accelerator pedal, and a horn button. An MP3 player with LCD display, USB socket, TF card slot, and controls for joke, story, music, poetry, and English content is an optional feature. The toy also has a parent-child function, allowing an adult to sit on the turned-over seat of the trailer and play with the child.

Important Technical Specifications:

  • Battery: Available in 6V-4.5AH, 12V-7AH, 12V-10AH, or 12V-14AH configurations.
  • Main Material: PP (Polypropylene).
  • Suitable Age: 37-95 Months.
  • Weight Limit: 60kg (for the child using the car), with a maximum load of 100kg for the product itself.
  • Product Size: (900+497+497)X380X545.5mm (length includes two trailers).
  • Speed: 3-5 KM/Hour.
  • Runtime: 1-2 hours after charging for 8-12 hours, based on ride-on conditions.
  • Charger: Input AC 110-240V, Output DC 12V-1000mA.
  • Fuse: Auto-reset fuse.
  • Executive Standards: EN71-1, EN71-2, EN71-3, EN62115.
  • Safe Using Time: Two years (referring to the product's lifespan).

Usage Features:

  • Assembly: Requires adult assembly. Small parts are a choking hazard, and children under 36 months are prohibited from using the product. All parts should be counted before assembly, and plastic bags disposed of properly.
  • Battery Storage (Trailer): The trailer cover can be pulled upward and removed to store a spare battery inside.
  • Quick Release Seat Plate: Screws on the side of the red seat plate can be unscrewed to remove the plate, allowing for convenient internal electrical maintenance.
  • Front Wheel Assembly: Involves turning over the car body, inserting a washer and front wheel onto the front axle, and fixing them with a washer, cotter pin, and wheel cover.
  • Rear Wheel Assembly: Requires checking if the rear axle is centered, attaching the rear wheel and motor to the axle, fixing with a washer, cotter pin, and wheel cover. The car body is then turned over, and the rear axle is pulled out until it cannot move before assembling the other wheel.
  • Steering Axle Assembly: Connects the steering wheel wire to the wires from the steering column, inserts the steering wheel into the column, and fixes it with a screw and nut.
  • Battery Connection: The battery is located under the red seat plate. Screws on the side of the seat are unscrewed, the button pressed, and the seat plate removed to access the battery. A protective device is inserted into the red plug fixed on the car body to connect the battery. Removable battery is optional, requiring release of the battery lock to take it out for charging.
  • Trailer Assembly (Optional): Involves turning over the trailer, inserting the axle, attaching the motor and wheel, and fixing them with a washer, cotton pin, and wheel cover.
  • Trailer and Locomotive Assembly: Fixes the trailer connection iron part under the trailer, then attaches the trailer to the locomotive, inserting a screw and fixing with a washer and cotton pin. Plugs from the trailer and locomotive are connected.
  • Trailer Handrail Assembly: Inserts the handrail into corresponding openings and pushes it into place.
  • Charging: Charging must be done by adults. The charging port is on the dashboard. If the car slows down, it needs to be charged for 8-12 hours, with a maximum of 20 hours. Removable battery charging is also an option.
  • Operation: Before use, ensure proper installation, battery connection, and power switch activation. All screws must be tightly fixed. Parents or guardians must ensure children take safety measures. The child should sit on the car seat while driving. Adult supervision is required. Driving should be on hard, flat surfaces, avoiding trenches, riversides, slopes, uneven ground, roads, obstructed areas, and other unsafe zones. Use only in daytime or bright places, avoiding low visibility.
  • Gear Shifting: The accelerator must be released, and the car must come to a complete stop before changing gears to prevent damage to wires and transmission parts.
  • Auto-reset Fuse: The car has an auto-reset fuse. If the car stops suddenly due to instantaneous current exceeding limits, the fuse trips. Operation should be stopped for about 8 seconds for the fuse to reset. To prevent tripping, avoid overloading the product (maximum load 100kg), dragging anything behind it, allowing water or liquids into electrical components, or changing the circuit system/structure.
  • MP3 Player (Optional): Features an LCD display, USB socket, TF card slot, and buttons for joke, story, music, poetry, English content, next/volume down, play/pause, and previous/volume up.

Maintenance Features:

  • Regular Inspection: Before use, parents should check all parts (batteries, charger, wires, plug, outer body, screws) for good condition and potential safety hazards. Damaged parts must be repaired before use.
  • Lubrication: After a period of use, apply a small amount of lubricating oil to moving parts to prevent wear, tear, and rust.
  • Storage: Keep the car away from fire and direct sunlight. Store it stably, not upside down, indoors or outdoors under cover. Avoid hot items (stoves, heaters) that could melt plastic parts. When charging, keep the car away from flammable materials.
  • Charging after Use: Charge promptly after use. If stored for a long time, fully charge it and recharge monthly to extend battery lifespan.
  • Cleaning: Use a soft cloth to clean the car. Do not use chemical solvents, soap, or water on plastic parts.
  • Power Off: When stopping or storing, cut off power and ensure all switches are in the 'STOP' or 'OFF' position.
  • Fuse Replacement: Use only 2A fuses. Troubleshoot short circuits of lamps before replacing.
  • Circuit System: Do not change the product structure or circuit system. Maintenance and repair must be done under professional guidance.
  • Battery Handling: Do not use the product for other purposes. Insert batteries with correct polarity. Non-rechargeable batteries cannot be charged. Rechargeable batteries must be charged under adult supervision. Do not mix old and new or different types of batteries. Remove depleted batteries properly and keep them away from children. Disconnect batteries completely when not in use and keep them away from children.
  • Charger: The charger is not a toy and should be kept away from children.
  • Parts: Strictly prohibit using non-manufacturer provided parts.
