Why is my HOME NETWERKS 7130-03-BT so loud?

  There are several reasons why your HOME NETWERKS Fan might be louder than expected: * The CFM rating may be too high for the room size. Ensure the CFM rating matches the room's requirements. * The damper might not be working correctly or is damaged. Check that it opens and closes properly. If damaged, contact Customer Service. * A bend in the duct is too close to the fan discharge. Make sure there are no sharp bends closer than 18 inches to the fan discharge. * The fan discharge is reduced to fit a smaller duct. Use the recommended ducting size to reduce noise. * The fan body isn't securely attached. Ensure the fan is securely attached to your ceiling joists.

  If your HOME NETWERKS Fan isn't clearing the room adequately: * Ensure there is sufficient intake airflow. Open a door or window slightly to allow airflow, as the fan needs enough airflow to draw from. * Check the CFM rating. Make sure the CFM rating on the fan matches the requirements for your room size. If the fan clears steam from the room within approximately 15 minutes after a shower, it is operating properly.
