Smooth & Wrinkle-Free Fabric Covers

Videos demonstrate applying fabric covers for a smooth, wrinkle-free finish.

CUSHIONS

Foam

Seat cushions are firm initially for longevity; break-in by walking on them.

Tools:

Sanding Pad Information

Sanding pad included for smoothing edges after frame assembly; no glue is used.

Frame Assembly

Parts Preparation and T-Connectors

Open parts bag, insert T-connectors into numbered wood parts; hammer can be used.

Attach Floor Glides

Attach black floor glides to the specified wooden frame parts.

Connecting Frame Sections

Connect numbered parts (1-8) using T-connectors and attach part 9 without screws.

Securing Frame Components

Attach parts 10 and 11 using screws, then attach part 12 with special-size screws.

Adding Structural Supports

Slide and secure parts 6, 8, 11, and attach parts 13, 14, 15 to the frame.

Installing Back Panels

Slide parts 16, 17, 18 into slots, then slide part 19 onto parts 2 and 4.

Adding Seat Supports

Attach parts 20 and 21 to part 19 and part 8, then secure part 22 over part 19.

Installing Front and Back Sliders

Slide parts 23, 24, 25 into back slots and parts 26, 27, 28 into front slots.

Attaching Seat Backs

Position and secure parts 29, 30, 31, 32, and 33 to the frame structure.

Final Frame Components

Attach part 34 to the left end and parts 35, 36 as shown. Parts 37, 38 are for fabric assembly.

Fabric & Foam Assembly

Fabric Cover Preparation

Fabric covers are inside out; unfold zippers. Snip hanging threads, which does not affect seam strength.

Applying Frame and Arm Panel Covers

Attach top rails, arm panel covers to parts 32/33, and frame back cover to the sofa back.

Attaching Front Cover and Fastening

Insert wood parts 37/38 into front cover sleeve and fasten velcro closures at front and back.

Assembling Arm Cushions

Cover arm foams with elite fabric, then insert into arm covers by aligning corners and smashing foam.

Assembling Seat Cushions

Match cushion foam and cover edges, align corners, smooth, and zip up seat cushions.

Assembling Back Cushions

Fill back cushion covers, zip up, knead/smooth on floor, and place on frame.
