Usage Features
The air conditioner can be operated via its control panel or the included remote control.
Control Panel and Indicators:
The control panel features buttons for:
- Power (on/off)
- Swing (to adjust airflow direction)
- Fan Speed (low/middle/high)
- Timer (to set operation duration)
- Temperature adjustment (+/-)
- Mode selection (Sleep, Mode, On/Off)
Indicators include:
- On/Off status
- Temperature display (in °C or °F)
- Fan speed (low/middle/high)
- Water tank full
- Cool mode
- Dehumidification mode
Remote Control:
The remote control provides access to the same functions as the control panel, including:
- Power button
- Swing button
- Temperature/timer increasing button
- Mode button
- Temperature/timer decreasing button
- Fan speed button
- Timer button
- Sleep button
Operating Modes:
- Auto Mode: The unit automatically selects the desired operation mode (Cool or Fan) based on the room temperature.
- If room temperature is ≥24°C, the unit automatically selects Cool mode.
- If room temperature is <24°C, the unit automatically selects Fan mode.
- Cool Mode: The unit operates to cool the room. The compressor starts to run when the room temperature is higher than the set temperature and stops when it is lower.
- Dehumidify Mode: The fan runs at a low speed, and the speed cannot be adjusted. The unit adapts constant temperature in dehumidifying mode, and the adjustment of temperature is not effective.
- Fan Mode: The fan runs at set speed, and the compressor does not run. Temperature adjustment is unavailable.
- Adjusting Temperature: The temperature can be adjusted from 15°C to 31°C, in 1°C increments, using the [+] or [—] buttons.
- Adjusting Fan Speed: The fan speed can be set to low, middle, or high using the fan speed button.
- Setting the Timer: The timer allows for automatic switch-on or switch-off after a predetermined amount of time (1 to 24 hours). If no other buttons are pressed, the timer will automatically confirm, and the indicator will remain illuminated steadily.
- Sleep Mode: This mode is effective when the unit is under "cool" mode. The unit will work under sleep mode, and the centrifugal fan will turn to low speed automatically. The set temperature will increase 1°C after one hour and an additional 2°C after two hours. The unit will stop running after six hours.
Installation:
The unit requires installation of a window kit and an exhaust hose to vent hot air outside. The window kit is designed for most standard horizontal and vertical window applications. The window height should not be less than 60 cm or greater than 120 cm. The exhaust hose should be extended and positioned in a way that it can reach the window, door, or venting hole in the wall. It is important not to block the air intake with a protective grid or any other object.
