HoMedics vende sus productos con la intención de que no tengan defectos de fabricación ni de mano
de obra por un plazo de un año a partir de la fecha de compra original, con las siguientes excepciones.
HoMedics garantiza que sus productos no tendrán defectos de material ni de mano de obra bajo

Esta garantía es válida únicamente si el producto es comprado y operado en el país en el cual se com-
pró el producto. Un producto que requiera modificaciones o adaptación para habilitar su funcionamien-
to en cualquier país que no sea aquél para el que fue diseñado, fabricado, aprobado y/o autorizado, o la
reparación de productos dañados por estas modificaciones no están cubiertos bajo esta garantía.

The HoMedics SoundSpa Auto-Set Clock Radio (model SS-4510) is an acoustic relaxation machine designed to create a perfect sleep environment and aid concentration. Distributed by HoMedics, this device offers a range of features for sound therapy, timekeeping, and alarm functions.

Function Description:

The SoundSpa serves as a multi-functional unit, combining a clock radio with a sound machine and a time projection feature. Its primary purpose is to help users fall asleep to calming sounds, wake up to nature sounds, radio, or an alarm, and mask distractions for improved concentration during reading, working, or studying. The device is powered by a DC adaptor and includes a CR2032 backup battery to maintain settings during power outages.

Important Technical Specifications:

• Power Source: DC adaptor (included), 120V household outlet.
• Backup Battery: 1 x CR2032 battery (for clock and alarm settings during power failure).
• Sound Options: 6 nature sounds (Rain Forest, Ocean, Thunder, Summer Night, Rain, Water Fall).

Usage Features:

• Automatic Time Set: The unit is preprogrammed with the current date and Eastern Standard Time. Users can adjust the time zone using a slide switch (E-EST, C-CST, M-MST, P-PST). The clock will automatically set itself. In case of backup battery failure, the clock can be manually set by pressing and holding the DATE/TIME button for 3 seconds, then using the +/- buttons to adjust year, month, day, hour, and minute. A PM indicator on the clock face signifies evening hours.
• Listening to Nature Sounds: To activate, press the SOUNDS button. Users can cycle through the 6 available nature sounds by pressing the SOUNDS button repeatedly. Volume is adjusted using the VOLUME knob. Sounds can be turned off by pressing the POWER button or by switching to radio mode. The unit defaults to the last mode used when turned on.
• Listening to the Radio: Press the RADIO button to turn on. Rotate the TUNER knob to select a station. Volume is controlled by the VOLUME knob. To switch between AM and FM bands, press the RADIO button. An FM indicator appears on the left side of the clock face when FM band is selected; if not illuminated, it's AM. The unit defaults to the last band used.
• Auto-Timer: When listening to nature sounds or the radio, the auto-timer can be set to automatically turn off the unit. Toggle through the TIMER button to select 15, 30, 45, or 60 minutes. A TIMER indicator will appear on the clock face to confirm the setting.
• Setting and Using the Alarm:
  1. Press the AL SET button; the alarm hour will flash.
  2. Use the +/- buttons to set the desired hour and minute. The PM indicator applies to the alarm setting.
  3. After 10 seconds, the alarm setting is programmed. The alarm setting can be reviewed by pressing the ALARM SET button.
  4. Wake Options: Press the AL MODE button to cycle through three wake options:
     • RADIO: Press once. Can be set to the current station or adjusted with the TUNER.
     • SOUND: Press a second time. Defaults to the last sound listened to. Can be changed by selecting a new sound and then pressing the POWER button.
     • BEEP: Press a third time.
  5. An ALARM MODE indicator (RADIO/SOUND/BEEP) will appear on the right side of the clock face, indicating the alarm is set.
  6. When Alarm Sounds:
     • SNOOZE: Press the SNOOZE button to extend sleep time by 9 minutes. This can be used repeatedly.
     • RESET: Press ANY button (except SNOOZE) to turn off the alarm. The alarm will automatically reset for the next day in its current mode. The ALARM indicator will remain on.
     • OFF: To completely turn off the alarm for subsequent days, continue pressing the AL MODE button until all ALARM indicators are off.
  7. The alarm will automatically turn off and reset for the next day if it sounds continuously for 30 minutes.
• Projection Feature:
  1. Press the PROJECT ON/OFF button on the back of the unit to turn the projection on/off. The time is projected onto the ceiling.
  2. Rotate the TIME ROTATION KNOB (up to 350 degrees) to adjust the angle of the projected time.
  3. Rotate the FOCUS KNOB to adjust the clarity of the projected time.
  4. The angle of the projector itself can be adjusted by angling it forward or backward.
  5. If the projection feature is off, pressing the SNOOZE button will trigger 5 seconds of projection.
• Clock Brightness: Press the BACKLIGHT HIGH/LOW button to choose between high and low clock display brightness.

Maintenance Features:

• Storage: Store the unit in its box in a cool, dry place.
• Cleaning: Wipe off dust with a damp cloth. Do not use liquids or abrasive cleaners.
• Service: All servicing of this product must be performed by authorized HoMedics Service Personnel. Do not attempt unauthorized repairs or modifications.
• Battery Replacement: Replace the CR2032 backup battery when the low battery indicator appears. Insert the new battery into the bottom compartment with the + side facing up.
• FCC Compliance: The device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules. Users are advised to reorient or relocate the receiving antenna, increase separation between equipment and receiver, connect equipment to a different circuit, or consult a radio/TV technician if interference occurs. Unauthorized modifications may void the user's authority to operate the device.

Warranty Information:

HoMedics offers a one-year limited warranty covering defects in manufacture and workmanship from the date of original purchase. The warranty does not cover damage from misuse, abuse, accidents, unauthorized accessories, alterations, improper installation, unauthorized repairs, improper power supply, power loss, dropped products, operational failures due to lack of maintenance, transportation damage, theft, neglect, vandalism, environmental conditions, or loss of use during repair. The warranty is valid only if the product is purchased and operated in the country for which it was designed. For warranty service, mail the product and dated sales receipt to the HoMedics Service Center.
