GOVERNOR ADJUSTMENT
Loosen the nut (1) on the governor arm pinch bolt (2),
and move the governor arm to fully open the throttle.
Rotate the governor arm shaft (4) as far as it will go in
the same direction and governor arm moved to open
the throttle.
Start the engine and allow it to warm up to normal
operating temperature. Move the throttle arm (5) to run
the engine at the standard maximum speed, and adjust
the throttle arm limiting screw (6) so the throttle arm
cannot be moved past that point.
