ENGINE DOES NOT STOP WHEN ENGINE OIL LEVEL IS LOW
Start the engine.
Disconnect the oil level switch Yellow wire
connector (1) and short it of the oil level
switch side and engine ground using a
jumper wire.
Replace the oil level switch (page 14-4).
Engine stop
Engine does not stop
Start the engine.
Disconnect the oil alert unit Yellow wire
connector (1) and short it of the oil alert unit
side and engine ground using a jumper wire.
Engine stop
Repair the open in the Yellow wire between
the oil level switch and junction box.
Repair the open in the Yellow wire between
the oil alert unit and junction box.
Check for open circuit in junction box circuit
(page 10-20).

Repair the open in the Black wire between
the oil alert unit and junction box.

Engine does not stop
Check for open circuit in junction box circuit
(page 10-20).
