4. Press and hold the starter button until the pilot lamp on the remote control
switch box goes on. Release the button the instant the engine starts.
CAUTION: Running the starter motor for more than 5 seconds can
damage the motor. If the engine fails to start, release the starter button,
and wait at least 10 seconds before operating the starter motor again.
* For operation of the generator, refer to page 19 thru 23.
Stopping the engine
1. Turn the engine switch on the remote control switch box and AC circuit
protector or breaker to their OFF position.
NOTE: If the engine cannot be stopped, open the maintenance lid by
removing the bottom flange bolt and lower the control lever until the
engine stops.
