Do not allow the starter grip
to snap back. Return it gently
to prevent damage to the
starter.

Pull the starter grip lightly
until resistance is felt, then
return the starter grip once.
Let the engine warm up for several minutes. If the choke knob has
been pulled to the CLOSE position, push it gradually t o the OPEN
position as the engine warm up.
Adjust the throttle lever so that the engine speed is suitable.
Hold the handlebar with your
left hand and pull the starter
grip briskly in the direction of
the arrow as shown.
