Why Honda Lawn Mower engine will not start?

  If your Honda Lawn Mower engine won't start, there are several potential causes. First, ensure the flywheel brake lever is engaged. Next, check if the mower deck is clogged with grass and clean it out if necessary. Verify that the fuel valve is turned ON. Also, make sure you have sufficient fresh gasoline in the mower. If the engine is not warm, move the throttle lever to the CHOKE position. A faulty spark plug can also prevent starting, so inspect, gap, or replace it. If the spark plug is wet with fuel, dry and reinstall it. Finally, make sure that you are using fresh gasoline.
