Why does my Honda Sedan CIVIC 2022 clock frequently change forward and backward by one hour?
The clock setting is automatically updated based on your GPS location. If you are driving near a time zone border, the automatic update likely is the reason.
What to do if traffic information is missing or not displaying properly on my Honda Sedan CIVIC 2022?
Traffic information relies on a clear signal. If signal strength is low, traffic data may not be available. Verify that the traffic icons are turned on. Also, online services may be off, in that case, select Navigation > Settings > Online Services > Sign Up for Online Services to turn them on. Note that traffic information is available only in certain areas. If the issue persists, it is recommended to seek assistance from your dealer.
Why does the Startup Confirmation screen appear every time I start my Honda Automobile?
The Startup Confirmation screen reminds you and your guest drivers to always operate the navigation system in a safe manner. This is normal. The Startup Confirmation screen goes off after a certain period of time, even if you do not select OK.
What to do if my Honda Sedan CIVIC 2022 Automobile navigation system reboots by itself?
A reboot can be caused by extreme temperatures or shock from bumpy roads. If this happens frequently, please see your dealer.
Why is the vehicle position icon not following the road on my Honda Automobile?
The signals received from the GPS satellites are extremely weak and can easily be interrupted or interfered as your vehicle travels near tall buildings or in tunnels. Check your vehicle surroundings for anything that may be blocking the reception. Also, metallic tinting or other aftermarket devices can interfere with GPS reception, so consult your dealer. If this happens frequently and there is no obstruction that is interfering the reception, please see your dealer.
Why is my elevation missing on the current position screen of my Honda Sedan CIVIC 2022 Automobile?
The elevation is only displayed if the GPS antenna can receive signals from at least four satellites. Try moving the vehicle into an open area. The elevation is also not displayed if the calculated elevation is zero or below sea level.
What to do if I cannot hear the navigation system voice in my Honda Automobile?
Press the button. Select General Settings > System > System Volumes. Turn up Navigation Guidance, if volume level is low. For more details, see the Owner’s Manual.
Why does the arrival time increase even when I am getting closer to my destination in my Honda Sedan CIVIC 2022 Automobile?
The “Arrival time” is based on the speed limit on each road. Depending on the traffic conditions, the “Arrival time” may be calculated to be earlier or later.
Why does my Honda Automobile navigation system not route me the same way as other systems?
The navigation system attempts to generate the optimal route. You can change the route preferences used when calculating a route.
Why does the display appear dim when starting my Honda Sedan CIVIC 2022 in cold weather?
This is normal. The display will become brighter after a few minutes.
