Use a brush to remove carbon deposits
from the spark arrester screen. Be careful
to avoid damaging the spark arrester
screen. The spark arrester must be free of
breaks and holes. Replace, if necessary.
Check the gasket. Replace, if necessary.
6.
Install the gasket and the spark arrester,
and tighten the spark arrester mounting
bolts.
Torque: 6.6 lbf·ft (9.0 N·m, 0.9 kgf·m)
7.
Install the tail cap cover and tighten the
tail cap cover bolts.
Torque: 9.0 lbf·ft (12.0 N·m, 1.2 kgf·m)
8.
Install the muffler cover and tighten the
muffler cover bolts.
Torque: 6.6 lbf·ft (9.0 N·m, 0.9 kgf·m)
