AMONG THOSE ACTS PRESUMED TO
CONSTITUTE TAMPERING ARE THE
FOLLOWING ACTS:
● Removal of, or puncturing the muffler,
baffles, header pipes or any other
component which conducts exhaust gases.
● Removal of, or puncturing of any part of the
intake system.
● Lack of proper maintenance.
● Removing or disabling any emissions
compliance component, or replacing any
compliance component with a noncompliant
component.

Have your vehicle inspected and repaired by
your dealer if you experience any of the
following symptoms:
● Hard starting or stalling after starting
● Rough idling
● Misfiring or backfiring during acceleration
● Poor engine performance and poor fuel
