Change notication method for apps
Go to Settings > Notications. Select an app to set the notication method for the app.
Enable Allow notications: Play alert when new notications are available for the app.
The notication method supported by each app may be dierent.
Notications Turn on Screen
Go to Settings > Notications > More notication settings, and enable Wake screen for
notications. Your tablet will then automatically turn on the lock screen when it receives a
notication.
Show Notication Icons in the Status Bar
Go to Settings > Notications > More notication settings, and enable Show notication
icons in the status bar.
Biometrics & Password
Face Recognition
Face Recognition allows you to unlock your tablet or access locked apps with your facial data.
Enroll Facial Data
1 Go to Settings > Biometrics & password > Face Recognition > Unlock device, and enter
your lock screen password.
2 Select Enable raise to wake.
The
settings items vary by device. If your tablet does not provide a specic item, it indicates that
the corresponding feature is not supported.
3 Touch GET STARTED and follow the onscreen instructions to enroll your facial data.
Add More Facial Proles
You can add a maximum of ve facial proles for your tablet so that it can be shared with your
beloved ones securely.
1 Go to Settings > Biometrics & password > Face Recognition, and enter your lock screen
password.
2 Touch Add facial prole and follow the onscreen instructions to enroll your facial data. After
nished enrolling, you can set the name of facial data.
Enable Face Unlock
On the Face Recognition screen, touch Unlock device, and select an unlock method.
If
you have added multiple users to your tablet , you can use Face unlock only with the Owner
account.
