The following is a list of commonly encountered problems and solutions.
If any of these problems persist contact your local Hoover representative.
TROUBLE SHOOTING
The Mattress Cleaner
does not work
1. Is there a working electricity
supply to the appliance?
2. Has the appliance
been switched on?
1. Check the power supply with
another electrical product.
2. Switch on the On/O button.
Reduced Suction
1. Is the appliance blocked?
2. Is the Pre-Motor
Filter Blocked?
1. Clean the suction inlet.
2. Clean the dust cup and Pre-motor lter.
UV light does not work
1. The reection of the object
surface is very poor or is too
far away from the appliance.
2. UV light safety switch
wheels stucked?
3. Is the UV light damaged?
1. Normally the UV light will turn on
automatically when the two UV light safety
switch wheels touch the cleaning surface.
2. Make sure the UV light safety switch
wheels are not stuck with foreign matter.
3. Contact Hoover after-sales
service to replace the UV light.
Mattress stops
working suddenly
1. Has the appliance overheated? In order to avoid the motor overheating,
security mechanisms have been
added. If this happens, stop using the
appliance, clean the Pre-Motor Filter
and Dust Cup. Wait 45 mins for the
appliance to reset before re-using.
Agitator Cleaning
To remove the agitator cover plate, rotate 3×locking clips with a coin to unlock the agitator cover plate and remove it [10,11]. Take
out the agitator [12]. Using scissors, carefully cut and remove any tangled threads or hair etc from the agitator body [13]. After
cleaning the agitator, carefully insert the gear of the agitator into the belt [R], then rotate the agitator towards you to make it t
in place [14, 15, 16].
After retting the agitator, replace the agitator cover plate and secure the cover in place [17,18].
UV Light Cleaning
Use a dry soft cloth or cotton swab to gently wipe clean the light [19].
IMPORTANT :
1. The penetrabilty of the UV light is weak, any paper, lead, glass or plastic may greatly reduce the intensity of UV irradiation. Any
dust or oil on the UV light will directly aect the penetrability. The UV light should be cleaned regularly.
2. Do not touch the UV light with your bare nger, the stain you leave on it will aect the penetration of sterilization light.
3. Regularly check and maintain the lters.
4. lf the appliance will not be used for a long time, please store the appliance in a cool dry place, do not store your appliance in
damp conditions or in direct sunlight.
