How to fix slow or dripping coffee from my Hotpoint Ariston CM 9945 HA Coffee Maker?
    • K
      Kevin VazquezSep 12, 2025
If the coffee from your Hotpoint Ariston Coffee Maker is running out too slowly or in drips, it's probably because the coffee is ground too finely. While the coffee mill is running, turn the grinding adjustment knob one click clockwise towards number 7. Continue this adjustment one click at a time until the coffee flow is satisfactory. You will see results after running 2 coffees.

What to do if coffee does not come out of Hotpoint Ariston Coffee Maker spouts, but around the service door?
    • S
      Shirley PhillipsAug 23, 2025
If coffee comes out around the service door instead of the spouts, it could be that the holes in the spouts are clogged with dry coffee powder (clean the spouts with a toothpick, a sponge, or a hard bristled kitchen brush), or the coffee feed inside the service door is blocked (clean the coffee feed thoroughly, especially around the hinges).

Why is my Hotpoint Ariston CM 9945 HA milk not well frothed?
    • M
      Michael HardyAug 25, 2025
If the milk is not well frothed, the milk container lid might be dirty (clean the milk container lid as described in paragraph Cleaning the milk container), or the milk pointer might be incorrectly positioned (adjust the pointer as described in chapter MAKING CAPPUCCINO).

What to do if my Hotpoint Ariston Coffee Maker coffee runs out too quickly?
    • B
      bushbenjaminAug 27, 2025
If the coffee runs out too quickly, it is likely that the coffee is ground too coarsely. Turn the grinding adjustment knob one click anti-clockwise towards the number 1 while the coffee mill is in operation. Avoid turning the grinding coarseness regulator too far otherwise when you select 2 cups, the coffee may run out in drips. Results are only visible after running off 2 coffees.

      Tanya HallAug 28, 2025
If water comes out of the spouts instead of coffee, ground coffee may be blocking the funnel. Clean the funnel with a wooden or plastic fork and clean the inside of the machine.

Why is coffee from my Hotpoint Ariston Coffee Maker not creamy enough?
    • B
      Benjamin KellerAug 29, 2025
The coffee may lack creaminess because the coffee is ground too coarsely (turn the grinding adjustment knob one click anti-clockwise towards the number 1 while the coffee mill is in operation), or the blend of coffee is unsuitable (use a blend of coffee specifically for espresso coffee machines).

Why does the milk from my Hotpoint Ariston CM 9945 HA Coffee Maker have large bubbles or spurt?
    • S
      Steven FranklinSep 18, 2025
If the milk contains large bubbles or spurts out of the milk spout of your Hotpoint Ariston Coffee Maker, it could be due to: * Using milk that isn't cold enough or is not semi-skimmed. Ideally, use skimmed milk at refrigerator temperature (about 5°C) or semi-skimmed milk at refrigerator temperature (about 5°C). You may also try a different brand of milk. * The milk frother pointer is incorrectly adjusted. Move the pointer slightly towards the word CAFFELATTE. See the chapter on MAKING CAPPUCCINO. * The milk container lid is dirty. Clean the milk container lid as described in the Cleaning the milk container section.

    • M
      Mary JohnsonSep 5, 2025
If the milk contains large bubbles or spurts out of the milk spout, the milk may not be cold enough or is not semi-skimmed (ideally, use skimmed milk or semi-skimmed milk at refrigerator temperature, about 5°C, and if results are still not satisfactory, try changing brand of milk), the milk frother pointer may be incorrectly adjusted (move the pointer slightly towards the word CAFFELATTE), or the milk container lid may be dirty (clean the milk container lid as described in paragraph Cleaning the milk container).
