INTRODUCTION *
Welcome to the family of Hoyt/Easton. As a member of an elite team,
you will be pleased to know you have just purohased the finest crafted,
most dependable bow made. With over 50 years of experience in bow
manufacturing, the unsurpassed craftsmanship and eye catching
style of the Hoyt/Easton bows makes it a popular choice for the quality-
minded archer.
Your new Hoyt/Easton compound bow comes with arrow rest,
nocking point. Center Shot Micro Adjuster, or adjustment screw (hori-
zontal arrow adjustment located at arrow rest), and the Hoyt/Easton
Cable Guard Control System (Patented). Bows using wide wheels do
not require a cable guard.
The following information provides helpful instruction on the proper
care and maintenance as well as shooting preparation of your new
equipment. Keep this manual as a handy guide for future reference.
CARE & MAINTENANCE FOR YOUR COMPOUND BOW
BOW CARE
1.
Never "dry-fire" your bow. (Dry fire Is to draw and release your bow without
an arrow) Without an arrow to absorb the energy, the force could cause
severe damage to the bow. ^
2.
Do not store bow In extreme heat.
3.
Do not tighten or loosen one limb adjustment bolt more than two full turns
ahead of the other (alternate between the fop and bottom limb bolts) when
increasing or decreasing bow weight.
4. Never allow your bow to be overdrawn. Compound bows hove limits
built-in and when these limits ore exceeded, overstressing con cause limb
damage. y

BOW MAINTENANCE
1.
Apply a light coot of bowstring wax to your bowstring about once a month.
2.
Replace frayed or worn bowstrings to prevent breakage or possible
damage to your bow Check loops regularly for excessive wear from tear
drops.
3.
Check cables periodically tor signs of wear
4. Wax bow and limbs every two or three months to maintain finish and
lustre.
5. It is not a problem to leave your bow in a strung condition, however, during
prolonged storage, le., between hunting seasons. It Is advisable to reduce
the draw weight by turning your limb adjustment bolts counterclockwise four
to six turns. Note on a piece of paper the exact number of turns you mode to
