Converging Series
This program uses the following series to approxim ate the value
of "e" (e = 1/ 0' + III! + 1/2! + ... + 1In!). It then tests ea ch
approximation against the value for' 'e" generated by the calcu-
lator by pressing
OJ 11 0 . Each approximation is displayed,
then the difference
between the approximation and the calcu-
lator's value for
" e" is displayed. When the two values are equal,
the program s
top s and displays the number ofterms it took for the
series to
converge.
