The scanner motor is located on the left side of the document
scanner assembly.

Remove the two (2) screws (callout 1) from the document
scanner motor.

Lift the document scanner motor straight out.
To reinstall
Reinstall the document scanner motor to the same position as before
its removal. If the motor is not reinstalled to the same position, the
cables might not reach their connectors.
