108 Removal and replacement

Formatter board
1 Remove all covers and the RFI shield.
2 If the LIU board has not been removed from the product, pull out
slightly the connector for the flat, flexible cable (callout 1) at the
left side of the formatter board to release the cable, and then
disconnect the cable from the formatter board.
3 Pull out slightly the connector for the flat, flexible cable (callout 2)
at the bottom of the formatter board to release the cable, and then
disconnect the cable from the formatter board.
Note Both flat, flexible cables must be reinstalled to the same orientation.
Examine the cables and make notes about their orientations to make
sure that you reinstall them correctly.
