Rotate the HP LaserJet 3100/3150 product so that you face the
front.
Tabs on the printer door hinge covers prevent the hinge covers from
becoming dislodged. The tabs flex inward (toward the middle of the
product) to release the hinge covers.

Beginning with the left hinge cover, use the small flatblade
screwdriver to pry the tab inward.

When the hinge cover is released from the printer door, rotate the
hinge cover up and then slide it off the hinge.

Repeat the procedure to remove the right hinge cover.

Lift the printer door off the hinges.
