3-8. DEFAULT SETTINGS AT POWER-ON
When the 4278A is turned on without a memory card inserted, the 4278A's control settings
are automatically set as listed in the following table. If a memory card is inserted, the
4278A's controls are set to the settings that were stored in the memory card using the auto-
load function.

the address, the address you set will be retained. The 4278A's HP-IB address is set
to 17 when shipped from the factory, and it may be reset to 17 if the 4278A is
