Measurement Procedure and Examples
Introduction
This Chapter provides basic measurement pro cedures, basic L,
C, and R measurement theory, and measurement hints. After the
descriptions of basic measurement pro cedures, practical measurement
examples are given using the HP 4284A.
Basic Measurement
Procedure
The following description shows the basic pro cedures used to
measure the imp edance of capacitors, inductors, resistors and
other comp onents. Follow the pro cedure to p erform imp edance
measurements, referring to the paragraphs noted on right side of each
step.
