Power Requirements
The HP 4284A requires the following po
wer source:
Voltage : 90 to 132 Vac, 198 to 252 Vac
Frequency : 47 to 66 Hz
Power : 200 VA maximum
Power Cable
In accordance with international safety standards, this instrument
is equipped with a three-wire p ower cable. When connected to an
appropriate ac p ower outlet, this cable grounds the instrument
frame.
The type of p ower cable shipp ed with each instrument depends on
the country of destination. Refer to Figure 1-1 for the part n
umb ers
of the power cables available.
Warning
For protection from electrical shock, the power cable ground must not
be defeated.
The power plug must be plugged into an outlet that provides a
protective earth ground connection.
