Keylock Function
The HP 4284A has keyboard lo ck-out capability that disables
all front panel op eration except for the p ower LINE switch,
CONTRAST knob,

key, and
NNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN
KEYLOCK
. This is useful when
you don't want the control settings changed, for example, if the
HP 4284A is performing bin sorting for a large number of capacitors.
Perform the following steps to disable all front panel op eration on the
MEAS DISPLAY
page.
1. Move the cursor to the
SYS MENU
eld.
2. Press

(which is a toggle typ e softkey). The key mark
will be shown on the left side of
